The DSP Laboratory is a research and development laboratory in the area of digital signal processing. This laboratory has also been conferred the "Texas Instruments DSP Elite Lab" title. Its main function is to support R&D work in signal processing for EEE postgraduate and undergraduate students. Staff working in the laboratory has strong connections with the industry, research centres and research institutes. This laboratory is equipped with the latest DSP development tools from Texas Instruments, Analog Devices and Spectrum Digital. The laboratory is also set up to conduct high-end audio processing research work, such as virtual surround sound, headphones measurement and special audio effects.
